Lived on Henry Thomas Drive in the Thomasville Heights Projects, adjacent to where Patrick “Pat Man” Rogers lived.
Last seen in June, 1980, at Tanner’s Grocery Store on McDonough Blvd. One witness said that she saw Wyche in a blue and white car with 2 black males. The car matched the same description of the car Jeffrey Mathis supposedly got into.
His body was found on June 24, 1980, at the bottom of a bridge near Moreland Ave and Constitution Rd. Some suggested that he had accidentally fallen off the bridge, but family members insisted that Wyche was very afraid of heights and that would not have been possible.
