Lived near Jackson Parkway and Hollywood Road.
Last seen entering a laundromat off Hollywood Road in August, 1980. Three witnesses peaked through a large fan at the laundromat and saw the manager, Jaime Brooks, strangle, beat and carry Jones’ body to the trash. Another witness told police that he saw Brooks fondle and rape Jones before strangling him.
Jaime Brooks was later sentenced on another assault with attempt to rape case and later died in jail of AIDS.
Jones’ body was discovered in a dumpster of the small shopping center off Hollywood Road.
