Lived in the Bowen Homes Housing Project near Bankhead Highway.
Last seen in February, 1981, at Byron’s Gun Shop, picking up trash for money. His brother was also with him.
He then walked to a nearby shopping center where a witness saw him get into a yellow car.
His body was found on the South River, by a fireman. One witness claims to have seen a green Chevy parked near the river a few days prior to his body being found. He only had on his underwear; all his other clothes were missing.
Cause of death was asphyxiation by strangulation.
