Lived on 2nd Avenue in NE Atlanta.
Last seen in May, 1981, at the McDaniel Glenn Housing Project Community Center paying a bill for his mother. One witness later claimed to have seen him in the Kirkwood East Lake area getting into the car with a black man driving a white car.
Barrett supposedly knew another victim, Lubie Geter, Jr.
His body was found on May 12, 1981, by FBI agents on a curb on Wintrop Drive near I-20 and Glennwood.
