Lived in Thomasville Heights off of Henry Thomas Drive in SE Atlanta.
Rogers went missing in November, 1980. He was seen, with his younger brother, at a bus stop on Henry Thomas Drive. A witness told authorities that Rogers had come by her apartment in Thomasville Heights, later that day, looking for her son.
His body was discovered the next month on the Cobb County side of the Chattahoochee River near the Paces Ferry Road bridge.
The cause of death was blunt force trauma to his head.
