Last seen on July 21, 1979, partying with his girlfriend, after leaving the Greenbriar Skating Rink on Stone Street. Some people claim they say saw ‘Teddy’ and Alfred Evans at a “pot party” on County Line Road.
His body was found on July 28, 1979, in a wooded area off of Niskey Lake Road in SW Atlanta, by a woman looking for cans. Alfred Evans’ body was found in the same location.
The house near this location was one that ‘Teddy’ frequented on occasion to “hang out” and practice karate, according to his friends.
His cause of death was a .22 gunshot to his upper back. He was found in a black jersey with red lettering. His socks and sun visor were missing.
