Lived in an apartment one block away form the intersection of MLK, Jr. Drive and Hightower Road. Cynthia Montgomery (who did not make the prosecution’s list of victims) also lived here. Nathaniel Cater one lived here, also.
Wilson was kidnapped in June, 1980, from her apartment, supposedly through her bedroom window. Suspect, Amp Wiley, lived in the apartment complex. Wiley’s cousins were charged with killing a 34 year woman in broad daylight in a suburban park. Wiley had also been accused of raping a young girl next door. Amp Wiley and Jimmy Ray Payne used to date the same woman.
Wilson’s body was found only 50 feet away from her apartment, on a steep hill.
