Lived on Rawson Street in the McDaniel Glenn Housing Project, near the capitol building.
Last seen near Whitehall Street near the West Hunter Street Baptist Church where Ralph David Abernathy was pastor. He had gone to Reese Grocery to buy some snuff for his neighbor. Right beyond the store was Cap-n-Peg’s fast food.
His body was found at E.P. Johnson Elementary School near the capitol building.
One witness said that he saw Bell get into a blue car on Fulton Street.
